Justin Lyon, CEO of Simudyne, is one of the world’s leading experts in simulation technology. He fundamentally believes that all decisions of consequence should be subject to a computer simulation. Justin successfully exited two companies and, in response to 9/11, provided advanced analytics to the US Department of Defence. Whilst at MIT, Justin realised that we were entering a new era of profound change and he wanted to be at the forefront of that revolution. Artificial intelligence promises to outstrip previous industrial and social transformations by using concepts and advances in computer science, robotics and mathematics to give machines the ability to think analytically.
Justin attracts audiences of experts and industry leaders who are interested in learning about applications of AI and machine-based predictions to inform decision making. Justin examines the ways in which these technologies will enable the world's business, government and civic leaders to shape a better world for the next generation. Justin has presented at Bloomberg, FT Innovate, World Cities Conference, and TedX. He has also appeared on CNBC, BBC World Service and featured in publications including Wired, The Guardian, ITProPortal, TechUK, The Risk Universe and Dow Jones.
