Sriram Prakash leads the Growth Capital and Venturing Services at Deloitte where we advise our corporate and financial sponsor clients on investment and M&A; decisions in the disruptive innovation eco-system.
He has advised clients on a range of complex issues covering growth & innovation strategy, M&A;, new venture launch, business delivery models and change management. His clients include Uber, Softbank, KKR, BoA, UBS, Barclays, Aviva, BT and Freshfields.
He is one of the innovation leaders at Deloitte and the author of Deloitte thought-leadership on corporate venturing called the “Next Billion Dollar Idea”. He is a mentor to startups at the London Business School incubator and works closely with HSH Prince Albert II of Monaco’s CleanEquity initiative.
In addition, he is also the Global Head of M&A; Insight and leads a high-profile multidisciplinary team that seeks to position Deloitte with clients to drive insight-led M&A; opportunities. He has been quoted in publications such as Financial Times, WSJ, The Economist, NY Times and his research on corporate cash received front page coverage at Davos. He is a frequent commentator on Bloomberg, CNBC and BBC.
Prior to joining Deloitte, he worked for 7 years in Hong Kong in the corporate development team of the largest privately-owned logistics company in the world. During this time he established a venture unit and led the efforts to incubate and spin-off a supply-chain technology venture.
