As Senior Director of Innovation, Strategy and Programs in Cisco Systems’ Corporate Strategic Innovation Group, Alex Goryachev leads a team of professionals responsible for infusing co-innovation across the Cisco ecosystem. The group’s responsibilities include creating and managing Cisco’s co-innovation and ecosystem engagement hubs in key cities around the world. Part of Cisco’s Innovation Center Program, these hubs bring together customers, partners, startups, accelerators, governments, research communities, and universities to co-innovate and disrupt and shape new markets.
Mr. Goryachev oversees Cisco’s Innovation Grand Challenges and the Cisco Technology Radar. The Challenges are designed to energize the ecosystem, discover new technologies, and build relationships with new startups around the world. The Radar is the company’s engine for identifying emerging technology transitions.
Previously, Mr. Goryachev was Senior Manager of Operations for Napster; Manager of Finance Operations for Liquid Audio; Business Intelligence Architect, Global Technology Services for IBM North America; and Senior Business Analyst, Manufacturing Operations for Pfizer. Alex Goryachev holds a master of arts degree in international economics from Moscow Institute of Social Science.
